So this came up in group last week that anything classed as a ‘tweak’ must be syned. For example if you make dumplings out of smash the recipe has been tweaked and is therefore syn-worthy.
I find this really odd as surely every slimming world recipe is ‘tweaked’ when compared to traditional recipes which is why they are low fat and great for weight loss.
I have never syned tweaks and won’t start now, I just wondered what other people’s thoughts were on this … ?
I don’t ‘syn’ my ‘tweaks’, but I do understand in some cases. For example, you can make ‘free’ crisps by baking them with Frylight, but it’s easy to go overboard and eat too many of them, whereas if they are served as part of a healthy salad, for example, then they would be ‘free’ as you won’t be eating too many of them. However, in most cases, ‘tweaked’ recipes are still going to be so much better than their unhealthy counterparts!
