Pitta Bread Pizza
Ingredients:
1 Tesco wholemeal pitta bread or similar: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=254945610
1 tbsp tomato puree
Tin of chopped tomatoes (optional)
Various toppings of your choice, e.g. peppers, onions, mushrooms etc.
40g low fat cheddar
Method:
Mix the tomato puree with a little of the chopped tomatoes, if required, to get the paste to the consistency you prefer. Spread it onto the top of the pitta bread.
Add the toppings of your choice. Vegetables can be cooked slightly in the microwave first if you prefer them less crunchy!
Grate the cheese and add it to the top of the pizza.
Bake in a hot oven (200 c) for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted and is bubbling.
Enjoy with Slimming World chips and ‘Smashing’ garlic bread!
