Autumn is upon us once again. The nights are getting darker, the weather just a little crispier, and we’re feeling hungrier! Beat the cold weather cravings by always having plenty on which to snack. Make pans of our SW winter soups and freeze them in portion-sized containers. Slice vegetables and make some low-syn dipping sauces for between meals or as appetisers.
My hubbie buys chicken or (chicken tikka) pieces from Iceland which are ideal for nibbling on their own (defrosted, of course!) or frying with onions, noodles, mushrooms and beaten egg for a quick, tasty lunch.
I’d be interested to hear of any other tips for beating the cold-weather blues!

Great tips! Soup is the perfect autumn/winter food and easy to reheat if you freeze it!I eat more in the colder weather and like heartier meals. Par boiling chipped potatoes and then splitting into portions and freezing mean you have 'oven chips' on hand for a quick side dish to your meals
